S.P.A.C.E. is the Student Parent Alternative Classroom Experience housed at South Pines Elementary in the Central Valley School District.

Students in grades can start in the program as early as kindergarten and continue together as a group through fifth grade! There is increased stability because your child knows his or her classmates and teachers year to year.

Through annual family contribution, S.P.A.C.E. classrooms utilize extra funding for curriculum, supplies, field trips, technology, art, and more. Families of the S.P.A.C.E program also volunteer 75 hours per year, attend monthly meetings, and participate in our fund-raising events. These classrooms are enriched through additional technology, experiences, guest speakers and parent involvement.
